Homecoming Week of Events

 

King and Queen Voting: Wednesday, September 17, to Thursday, September 25 on B-Involved

7 men and 7 women are selected by a panel of anonymous judges to represent Purdue on Homecoming Court. Vote on Boilerlink and support your favorite candidates! It’s easy to vote. Just go to Boilerlink, sign in, and follow the prompts. 

Monday, September 22

Kickoff Cookout—Union Front Lawn—11:30 a.m.—1:30 p.m.

Kickoff a great Homecoming week with FREE hotdogs, crafts and games. Meet the Homecoming candidates, and watch a special performance by the Purduettes! FREE with Purdue student ID.

Wednesday, September 24

Homecoming Carnival—Memorial Mall—Time 2:30 -5:30 p.m.

This carnival will be held on the memorial mall on Wednesday afternoon.  It will have carnival games, inflatables, special guests, and carnival food.  There will also be opportunities for competing groups to gain points towards their overall Homecoming score.  The event will also serve as the drop off point for groups competing in the food drive.  

Thursday, September 25

Trivia Night—Union Commons from 8:00—10:00 p.m.

Come compete in teams of 6 people to show off your Purdue knowledge.  There will be 7 rounds with categories ranging from Purdue people to Purdue places.  Grab some friends and challenge yourselves with Purdue trivia!

Friday, September 26

Parade—Starts at 8:00 p.m. from Pierce/State Street to Mackey Arena
Celebrate with friends at the Boilermaker Night Train Parade! The parade will feature walking units, vehicles and floats made by student organizations and local businesses. The route will begin at the corner of Pierce and State Street, west on State Street, north on Martin Jischke Drive, east on Third Street before turning north on University Street and ending at Mackey Arena. The parade will highlight this year’s theme “Stay Gold” Come celebrate our university and community at the parade!

Saturday, September 27

Purdue Football vs. Iowa—TBA

Come watch as our Boilermaker football team takes on the Hawkeyes from Iowa.
