A reception will be held for families, students, and faculty on Founders Park Mall, northwest of Stone Hall.  In case of rain, the reception will be held in the HTM Café, Stone Hall.  Representatives will be present from the Dean’s Office; Child Development and Family Studies; Consumer Sciences and Retailing; Foods and Nutrition; Hospitality and Tourism Management; Consumer and Family Sciences Education; and the CFS Student Services Office.  The Hospitality and Tourism Management Society will host a silent auction.

The College of Education will host a continental breakfast/information fair in STEW 218 A-D, which will include recent Study Abroad participants answering questions and sharing their experiences. The Dean’s welcome will begin at 9:30 a.m. followed by recognition of 2009-2010 scholarship recipients and donors.

College of Engineering – Leah H. Jamieson, John A. Edwardson Dean of Engineering

9:00–11:00 a.m.
The schools within the College of Engineering will provide opportunities for parents and students to meet the Purdue Engineering family, including faculty, staff and students representing each school.  Representatives from the Minority Engineering program (MEP), Office of Professional Practice program, Women in Engineering program (WIEP), and the Engineering Projects in Community Service (EPICS) will also be available.  This is an excellent opportunity for undecided engineering students to also learn more about the variety of engineering disciplines offered at Purdue University.  Tours of selected buildings and labs will be available.
